Quality Statement
Since 6 April 2010, the State Pension age for women has been gradually increasing and since December 2018 has been increasing for both men and women. On 6 March 2020, the State Pension age for both men and women increased to over 65 years 8 months. The State Pension age for both men and women continued to increase at the same rate, reaching 66 by October 2020. Further increases to bring the State Pension age to 67 are proposed to be phased in between 2026 and 2028. Details of further planned changes to State Pension age can be found here.
